Valentine day is approaching…
Sunday, February 5th, 2012 by Roberto SaraccoSo you may want to consider this innovation, or may be not.
Meet Kissenger (I guess a short for “kissing messanger”) a device invented by Hooman Samani, a cute ball (sold in pair) where you can place your lips and kiss. It replicates the “kiss” on the other connected (via Skype as an example) ball and the lips kissing that ball will feel your kiss and viceversa.
Kissenger lips act as intermediator molding around yours to give you the feeling of the real thing. Actually, you may wonder what is meant with the real thing since Hooman, who is an artificial intelligence researcher at the Social Robotics Lab at the National University of Singapore. has developed a robot that can kiss the ball and apparently you won’t be able to tell the difference from a real kiss. He calls this new discipline Lovotics, Love + Robotics.
Take a look at the video..
Uhm, it looks to me that it gets worser and worser, but may be this is just because I was born in the distant past.
Pretty sure though that this is not the present my wife would appreciate next week!
